We are trying. We have a lot of Australian GX folks who want to be customers.
The huge issues we have is, no access to a vehicle, and a wiring harness diagram that does not match even though it is an AU spec wiring harness diagram...

Would you mind telling me the name of the tuning shop that is investigating the wiring? I'd be keen to check up on their progress directly rather than hound you guys constantly

Still loving it. I'm on the 93 octane tune and there's a NOTICEABLE improvement in part throttle driving. Tip in is smoother and there's just more urgency/torque everywhere. Fuel economy better too. Currently averaging 16.6 mpg between city and highway.

I haven't looked at MPG, but I'm loving the new tune. Especially the transmission. The GX drives & responds like it should have from the factory. Off-on throttle lag is reduced, and my biggest OEM gripe - stop sign response - is night and day. I really disliked how every time I came to a stop sign & went to take off there was a big hesitation, like the transmission was still trying to downshift to 1 or 2. Now when I hit a stop sign and go to take off the GX is (almost always) ready to take off. So. Much. Better!

Those MPG numbers look fantastic. I am happy to hear you guys are liking the new tune. It is a combination of completely rewriting and recalibrating load / boost targets, throttle, torque, transmission shifting, and more.

Those MPG numbers are better than what our hybrid Tundra could do.

I can't wait until you guys who ordered get the bigger turbos installed. You get all the OEM like response + a staggering change in power.

No I did not. The only flash the car has had is VF Tuner. It's not been flashed at the dealership.

If you do transmission tsb, use the tool to read the tsb flash first, I forgot to do this

No, my dealer refused to do it unless they could replicate the upshift "clunk" which they could not.

Mine (Santa Barbara) wouldn't do the brake fix until I had video evidence.

@VF Tuner Would I be able to let Ctprelude borrow my cable to tune ??

If it's the CAN cable, It's hard enough to get it installed the first time around, but installing and removing it a couple times certainlyincreases the risk that one of the wires in the wire loom will snap (ask me how I know). Once that CAN cable is installed behind the dash, plan to keep it there until you no longer want a tune.

I didn't do the trans TSB either (I had the earlier VFtune TCM tune and never had any issues) and am just as happy with the new TCM tune.
