VF Tuner ECU/TCU Tuning for the GX550 (1 Viewer)

with our tunes you are likely to see a good bump in mpg. Almost everyone is reporting better mpg, and the bigger turbos are actually a bit more efficient than the stock ones, so that is also going to help with MPG.

These turbos are not just some "bolt-on" bigger turbos. They are built in toyotas factory directly, consulting with the engineers who designed this engine.
The design is made to maximize power on stock engine without any additional risk and without increasing turbo lag.

Install cost for us (at a toyota dealer) was about $5k, but it included other things, not just turbo swapping.
I'd budget $3500-4500 for install cost.
Is a tune also included with the turbos? I'm imagining the current tune I'm running won't adapt to the increased airflow.

I saw on youtube, your partnering with magnuson, what’s better, the supercharger or bigger turbos, or both?

Looking forward to the new tune with the updated shifting logic. Is it possible to do AGM battery charging in these trucks ?

Interesting, I would have thought bigger turbos mean more air = more fuel for the same level of throttle. Although maybe for normal driving you'd be using less throttle/boost. Woof on the install cost, I figured it wouldn't be great, but that's up past what a full turbo/SC kit usually runs to install. I'll have to reach out about the discount once my tune kit comes in.
