Beatsonic Sigma Amplifier for Premium Sound system (4 Viewers)

"Hello, the ENS-L201 will be the same amplifier that is available for both vehicles. The only difference will be the installation process "
"The wiring harness is the same for both the NX and GX kits, so there should be no issues if you ordered the NX kit for your GX. "

Just finished installing mine in this morning…DAMN THAT WAS HARDEST THING IVE EVER INSTALLED. In the end, the best thing I’ve installed so far. The music comes to life, night and day. I highly recommend anyone to buy one instantly.

I feel like I must be crazy because I installed mine (wasn’t that bad, 30 mins top) but I don’t notice that much of a difference, and I turned the gains all the way up. What I did notice was a thump on startup each time as well as a pressure/headache sensation from what I assume is the amplified ANC. I had to disable it to stop the thumping noise when first starting the car which I’m not that thrilled about.

To my ears it might sound a little better but not a night and day difference.

Then something isn't right - it made a huge difference in my truck. I have my gains at 3/4. Previously, listening to music at any volume setting below about 26-28 was way too low. Then when you got up to 28-32 or so, it was louder but sounded tinny, crappy, and forced. Now volume at 24-26 is blaring and full of depth.

Do you still have ANC enabled without a thump on start up?

It’s not like the cables can be loose or anything since they all have to clip in and only go one way, so not sure what’s up. Maybe I’ll try reaching out to them, but I’m afraid they’ll just say everything is normal. The instructions even note that anc might need to be turned off to prevent distortions.

I used to use volume 10 around town and 20 on the highway and felt that was sufficient before. Now it seems like I need to be around 15-20 around town.

And before anyone says it’s probably my hearing, I know it’s not! I had to get my hearing tested as part of a medical test for a fed LEO position and it was near perfect:

My hearing is pretty good - most of my shooting has been done with ears on. My Dad learned that lesson the hard way and taught me to wear ear protection. But then again, I'm almost 55 and my wife thinks I don't listen, so I have that going for me.

I'll check my stereo settings. I'm also going to crank my gains from 3/4 to max. I poked my head in there the other day but I couldn't get a small screwdriver on the gain buttons to turn them up another quarter turn. I'm in the middle of shaving down a cheap micro-screwdriver so that I have a tool that will fit and I can use the tool with a mirror. Much harder than just snipping and replacing the zip ties that hold the Beatsonic in place, but that's how I roll..

So installed mine and took some advice and turned off all the equalizers on Spotify etc. the bass was overpowering but now it's manageable.

Now with the rca outs starting a new project.

I had the thump on start too and fixed with removing ANC. Not sure I can tell any difference in cabin noise compared to having ANC on, so no big deal to me. Makes sense there could be issues there with the stereo trying to create artificial frequencies or whatever to offset noise it perceives.

I'm with SFLGX though in that I didn't notice a major upgrade in sound quality. I did certainly notice the volume doesn't need to be cranked way high anymore to get it at a good volume for jamming out and probably a little improvement in quality, just nothing what I would consider major at all.

I would really love a custom sub box for this location. Currently have a shallow JL 10 in the back that works, but I usually have to have camping chairs and stuff in the back for my kid's games and annoys me how it vibrates/rattles.

I just started and im going to install a JL 10TW3 with a JL amp. I'm not going for SPL just good sound and I agree with you about all my stuff and not hitting everything, a stealth install is what I'm aiming for. Also the whole car could use a bunch of sound deadening. Doors and rear fender skins all could use it.

I'm with you on sound deadening. I'm taking the GX and another in for window tinting and I'm going to get a quote for full sound deadening in the 4 doors and rear cargo sides on the GX. Behind the plastic in the cargo area it's just a tin can like you've pictured!

Awesome! Will be curious to see how it turns out. I'm sure there must be a reason, but dunno why we gotta leave so much wasted space in those wheel well areas. At least with my old 5th Gen 4Runner there were a couple options for stealth type subs, the JL is what I had, but doesn't seem like there is a good option here other than really cutting up that interior panel and going custom back there.

Sorry to chime in but I did purchase one of these, I haven't installed it yet. But on my 2024 GX OT, 10-20 on my stock vehicle is pretty low volume, like you can hear it at that volume but it would be background noise, not something you're actually listening to.

I'm narrowing down my research for a 3D printer and I'm planning on playing around with replacement panels back there in the cargo area.

If you want to go down a wormhole check out what this guy is doing with 3D printing - he's printed up a whole Porsche GT3 body on top of a Boxster. The results are truly amazing. He 3D prints manageable pieces (sizes that the printers can manage) and melts and glues them together, then overlays fiberglass for strength, then body filler and sanding makes it incredibly smooth for eventual painting.
