With the RCA preout, I assume that allows you wire directly to an amp for a sub without having to use a LOC? Is there a remote turn on wire as well? Of course it's out of stock now that I have my GX and looking to purchase.

do you think you need to install a sub with the amp upgrade? I’m considering both, but wondering if the amp improves the overall base enough. It’s definitely lacking in the stock configuration.
I'm quite happy with the bass now. But I'm also not a window-rattling bass kind of guy. I'd rather have full cargo space than have a box permanently mounted back there.
I'm also going to crank my gains all the way up - I put them at about 3/4 but all reports say that the stock speakers can handle gains all the way up.
I do not think a separate sub is needed.
I had my gains all the up from the beginning, works great.
It’s been sold out for several days.
Seems louder for sure. Is the quality of the sound better? Clear at higher levels?

I went back to stock speakers to try and diagnose my amp thumping issue, but did a side by side test of the Kicker to the stock with the Sigma Amp. The kicker speaker is noticeably sharper and crisper than the stock speaker. I tested this by keeping the stock speaker in the left and kicker on the right and I just moved the balance from side to side.
The kicker and oem speakers are different Ohms , so that changes how the amp will run on those channels

are the stock speakers not 4-ohm?
In case anyone was wondering about a restock, I reached out to them and originally had been told mid-March, but checked again today and they say within the next 1-2 months. Bummer for those of us that didn't get in on the first stock.
Little update here for anyone that is looking to utilize one of these with also adding a sub...using the RCA preout from the Beatsonic amp to the subwoofer amp does work, but the problem is the factory head unit bass adjustment controls the bass level of both the factory speakers AND the subwoofer. This is obviously an issue, as with the factory setting set high enough to have sufficient output from the sub, the factory speakers are pushing too much and distort. Set it down enough so that the factory speakers are good and the sub doesn't have enough output for certain genre's and songs, and that is with the gain on the sub's amp maxed out.
I reached out to Beatsonic and there is nothing their amp can do to mitigate this as I assumed, so it seems like the preout is a bit of an afterthought. I'm going to try an LC2i PRO and see if that will fix the problem, but if I'm having to use that it really defeats the purpose of running RCA from the Beatsonic. Just a bit of warning if that is a big selling point for anyone.
Overall, I like the upgrade, but I don't think it's worth $800 for what you get. I will say the install was extremely easy though with some of the detail provided by prior posters so definitely appreciate it.

I bought one today from beat sonic let's see if it's worth the hype. I'm also interested in the output with a subwoofer
