Beatsonic Sigma Amplifier for Premium Sound system (12 Viewers)

I bet it’s the signal sense turn on function that makes that thumb upon startup ….. tends to happen when you amplify the factory stereo signal

in speaking with Beatsonic, the delay might not be set correctly. They have been very responsive and have been messaging me all day.

Definitely an A+ with the customer service so far
Is there a way to adjust the delay on the amp? Or is it something that is set internally when it was manufactured?

Was it hard to pry off the speaker covers for the corner dash speakers? Use a trim removal tool? I want to swap my speakers out but need help with getting the adapters. Thanks for your help.

I think it’s an internal setting (as there are no switches/dials on the amp except for line input and speaker gains) but it hasn’t been determined if that is even the issue. I’ll probably stop posting about it until it gets resolved. It seems like it’s an isolated issue at the time.

Just finished the install. Same experience as Sixgun. Spent about 45 minutes trying to remove the plug from the stock amp and about 15 minutes on the rest of the install. Surprising amount of room on the underside of the seat. Making me wonder whether I could get a powered sub in there on the passenger side.

Sound is significantly improved. Very noticeable difference. Sound is much fuller and robust. A little like the difference between listening to a record (stock) v. a live performance (beat sonic).

Well worth the $$$ in my opinion if you’re a music lover.

Stock speakers are fairly impressive, by the way. Haven’t pushed them to the limit yet, but plenty of volume and very clear at 35. Have had some cars with fairly high end systems (e.g.,B&W) and this system is very comparable IMO with just the amp upgrade. Would still like a little more punch on the low end, by this thing really helps there too. Definitely going to put off getting a subwoofer for a bit while I play with the settings.

Did the OEM speakers you pulled out of your GX look as cheap as the ones in the video?

I watched the video on Beatsonics' website. I see you can add a powered sub via the outputs on the unit above, which would be great to get the added base this system lacks. Fitting a sub under the passenger seat like maringx550 mentioned would be ideal. What would it take to fit 2 or 4 more speakers in the truck? Another separate amp? I'd really like to have 2 more speakers in the middle of the rear doors where the ML system has speakers. I'd also like to have full-range speakers in the rear cargo area in or near the D-pillars if possible.

I installed mine yesterday. I have a strange issue....

You know the piped in fake engine sound? Well, it seems exaggerated now, like WAY more, and it's sporadic. It sort of comes and goes and isn't related to engine rpm. It's so loud at times that I thought I had a mechanical issue....it was like tire hum, but really bad tire hum! Another example: You know when you have a tight ratchet strap start to vibrate/hum in the wind? Just like that...and its coming from the speakers/a speaker (I haven't isolated which speaker(s) yet).

I did some troubleshooting today and disconnected the BeatSonic amp and reconnected the factory amp. The sound vanished. I then reconnected the beats sonic amp and the sound is back. The sound comes on in any driving mode and with the radio on or off. I'm not sure if there's an error with the BeatSonic amp or some sort of interference. I'll reach out to the vendor tomorrow to see what they think.

On another note, is there a way to turn off the fake engine sound? If it's to one speaker, which one is it? I was thinking of disconnecting that speaker to narrow it down.
