Slee step sliders to replace the OT rock rails. This will give us easier access to the roof-rack and ski rack! Install pictures to follow.

Let me know if the Slee sliders are designed to accommodate the lights on the underside of the running boards.

I got the Slee sliders installed a few weeks ago. We have really been enjoying them. Very stout, easy install, look almost stock and function perfectly as a step and rock slider.

Those look really nice. I'm sick of waiting for my own practical rock sliders that you can actually step on.

And no lift, right? I'm trying to decide between 275/70/18 and 285/70/18 tires on the stock rims. But those look fantastic.
Stock suspension. So far so good. I was debating between 285/70 and 285/75. I’m happy with the slightly smaller diameter. I don’t feel any noticeable loss of power. I’m a couple hundred miles in and my mileage has gone from 18.7 to 18.6. I expect that to continue to drop slightly, but the wheel/tire combo I went with is pretty light so hopefully not too much!

I was debating the same 275/70 or 285/70 on the OE rim.
Here is another reference pic for everyone with a 275/70/18 SL on OT wheels.. in this case i went with the Terra Grappler G3. I just finished a round trip CO-VA-CO with these.
Virtually no change in highway noise, very smooth, steering not affected at all. No idea of MPG change as I’m not concerned about it. Didn’t have any snow or ice so can’t comment on that. I did drive thru a huge downpour with heavy puddles and it behaved excellent.
EDIT: I am now running these at about 30-31 psi cold. They warm up to about 34-35. That has ‘fixed’ about 80% or more of the vibration problem on my OT.

Those do look very appropriate on it. I have the same Incognito OT so that's really helpful to see how it would look. I, of course, would like it to have very aggressive big tires for the aesthetics, but I also have to drive around in the city and highways MOST of the time, so something a little more subtle has is merits. Just yesterday my wife commented about how quiet and smooth my GX is compared to her Platinum Sequoia, so if I got something too large and rugged I'm sure i would get comments trending in the other direction. Also, the 275/70 should fit better in the spare location. Do you have a matching 275/70 spare? How does that look?

Yes, I changed the spare to the same exact tire…so I did all 5 tires to the new ones. The spare fits right in, I think the Discount Tire guy had to jiggle it around just a tad to get it fully recessed, but no problem. Ha, I actually meant to get a picture of the spare underneath! I’ll get that done and post it up. You will notice it hanging down a bit lower vs. the OE Toyo.
FWIW..the Terra Grappler G3 has 2 different sidewall patterns to choose from when mounting. I went with what appeared to me as the less ‘aggressive’ pattern. (I believe Nitto offers this on most of their truck, SUV tires).

Hey SethGX,
So I took a few pictures of the new 275/70 spare. You can see it’s a tight fit. The back portion of the spare measures right at 2” below the plastic hitch cover. At the front of the spare (edge of the tire nearest the vehicle front) you can see it’s still a bit higher up than the rear differential housing. Hope this is helpful. 😊

That is REALLY helpful to see the photos, thank you for sharing those! I think I'll go with that size too, it just seems like a reasonable compromise.

Crawling under there gave me a chance to check for fully recessed tightness. After about 4000 miles it is still snug, so I assume the tire guys seated it correctly!

Having that tire hang down lower may just save your rear bumper cover from ripping off. Mine got dragged and ripped off numerous times, and I kept having to jerry rig it back on after being offroad.
