The Ineos was one of my favs. I had one of the first 2O hitting the US in Dec of 2023. Sadly the quality was just not quite there when I walked away at the dealership.

Love my GX - but still thinking of buying an Ineos as it is such an emotional support vehicle….

The Ineos was my first choice for an extra vehicle, but I wanted one my wife would occasionally drive as well. There was no way she was dealing with the steering on the Ineos, so that's how I ended up with GX.

If I were you, I'd confirm that this particular vehicle is indeed available, re-confirm, and keep re-confirming with Hertz every day until the minute you show up at the Hertz counter. I can't tell you how many times I've had a specific vehicle arranged and then what do you know?....all they have is a shitbox "equivalent" vehicle available when you actually go to pick up the vehicle.

That is a very possible result. Will be great if the "vehicle is guaranteed"

Definitely a possibility! But it is a mere sideshow to the trip (don't really need it) so will just roll into it and see what happens. Worse case I end up with a Nissan Juke and some money back.

I am interested to check out the steering. Until I bought the GX, various GMC HD diesels were my daily. Can the Ineos be more challenging? Can't wait to see.

Reminds me of a '69 F100 we had growing up. I don't mind old school steering that requires constant input, but my wife just wasn't going to do it.
