GX550 Aftermarket Wheel & Tire Thread (2 Viewers)

I wish Vossen did custom offsets on smaller dia wheels. I'm looking for 18in. wheels ideally, and want to change things up from the Method, Icons and SCS wheels I've had on my last several trucks.
Same here.
Considering 20'' or 22'' but all the current offsets poke out from the car. I prefer flush, or just slightly into the fender.

I think Vossen does custom offsets for 20 or 22in wheels. Just not for 18s from what I can tell.

I prefer the 18” setup so I ended up ordering the 18x9 0 offset HFX1 wheels. My current wheels are the same specs and it’s not too bad with a 265 or 275 tire.

OK, I'm probably a liitle too conservative to have come up with that combo, but it looks killer!

Can you take a pic straight along the side of the truck from front or rear? I'd love to see how much "poke" you've got going on there.

It’s definitely a lot more than most. But we added the level today. So far no issues

Just mounted up 22" Vossen HF6-5 in satin black (22x9.5 ET 20) on Nitto Nomad Grapplers (285/45/22). Couldn't be happier, exact look I was going for!

I need help please. I am looking to Replace the OEM Rims on my Premium+. I am looking at Vossen HFX-1 20x9 or 20x9.5 what offset should I get? I don't want them to stick out from under the fender wells. Will I be able to use my old tries or sure I replace them? I would be looking for all weather tires. Best on highway and handling what would be the best size tires for this rim? I am really struggling on this for the right Tire for these Rims. I obviously want them to look good or I would just keep the ugly OEM rims I have. HELP!

Unless you custom spec your offset, all the 20” fitments will stick out a little past the fender. Least aggressive is going to be 20x9 +18. I just shopped both the 18 and 20s and settled on the 18s because I prefer more tire than wheel.

Thank YOU

question for those who've gone aftermarket, are your lugs feeling a bit short & did you get longer lug bolts? I test fit a custom 18" rim and I got six full rotations on the lug nuts tightening by hand on the front, I assume with using a proper torque wrench I'll get 6.5 to 7 full rotations

I found a nice looking Fuel Rebel 6 wheel (20x9) with a +20 offset. Don't expect much poke. Mounting up 275/55R20 Nitto Terra Grappler G3's on them.

In general, don't use the Lexus OEM nuts for aftermarket wheels.

Im looking at the exact same setup when my premium plus arrives. Can you please post pics once installed?

Probably mid-April based on arrival estimates.
